Hi all - I have a Lennox iComfort S30 controlling a Lennox HVAC system. I use the Lennox Home app on our iPhones so that when we are both away, the Lennox thermostat will go into a smart away mode to different temp setpoints via geolocation; and when one of us returns, temps return to the pre-programmed schedule. I thought the alarm.com geolocation function would allow to set a rule to put the Lennox into smart away, but apparently schedules & smart away are not supported. Is the only thing that alarm.com is providing is a way to see and alter temps? Sorta defeats the purpose of Lennox integration, at least in my use case.
That’s correct, the intergration allows you to send the following commands through the Alarm.com interface:
- Change Setpoint
- Change Mode
- Change Fan Mode
- Request Updated Status
- Scene Integration
Schedules and Automation rules in Alarm.com currently do not apply to Lennox thermostats.
