Is it correct to assume that these 118’s will work with IQ4 panels.? How many devices like this can I add to iq4. I assume I can create rules to active shutoff valve with these?
Are these decent quality as they are less expensive than the IQ tiles.
The RE118 does work with 319.5Mhz versions of the panel, but if you are referencing your personal system with Surety it looks like you have a 345Mhz version.
You would need a 345Mhz sensor. An option is linked below. There is no specific limit to these other than the max sensor zone limit of 128.
The alula has a 345. But I thought by Iq4 was dual band so I don’t understand why the native version (319) that says it. I thought my panel does both. I thought I ordered a version thst let me use my legacy 2 gig sensors so thst I had both?
do you have any experience with the alula sensors ? Are they any good. ? What have you heard?
Trying to migrate off 2 GIg and be done with them at some point. I also believe the IQ sensors are encrypted
The IQ Panel 4 does have dual frequency. The first frequency is PowerG frequency and the second frequency is a legacy frequency(319.5Mhz, 345Mhz, or 443Mhz) depending on the model.
The IQ Panel 4 can only handle one legacy frequency at a time.
I have not used alula leak detectors but I have used alula door/window sensors and they seemed to be reliable.
