I’m having issues connecting Schlage Encode locks to my alarm.com account. Tried several times adding and deleting without success. When I go through the process I get the confirmation that the lock was added but nothing shows up on alarm.com. I contacted Schlage support and they are pointing fingers at alarm.com being the problem but are unable to provide details. I added some screenshots of the “successful” device confirmation and the error I get when going to the lock section on alarm.com. Any ideas on how to resolve this?
What exact model of Schlage Encode locks do you have? Do you have the newer Encode Plus locks?
The BE489 is named as compatible, the newer BE499 is not.
When I look at your equipment I can see that a Schlage account link is there, but there are no reported devices.
Thanks for the quick response. I checked the model number and it looks like I have the newer 499 models. So I guess that’s the reason why it’s not working. Will support be added for these in the future?
I cannot confirm 100% or provide an ETA, but if it can be I would expect so. I am guessing the direct Apply Home Keys integration or related changes may be the roadblock, but that is a guess.
Schlage Encode Plus (BE499) is supported by Alarm.com now.
