My GC3 displays messages a couple of times a day that it had issues communicating with a Schlage FE door lock. It works just fine, but the message notification beeps three times every couple of minutes and I want to turn this off. Is there a way?
Unfortunately Z-wave alerts cannot be turned off manually, you can acknowledge the alert on the panel to stop the beeping temporarily, but the underlying issue would need to be resolved.
What is the firmware version of the GC3? You can find this under System Info and Usage, System Info.
The door locks are not NWI devices and must be learned in within about 6 feet of the panel or you can run into issues. Was the lock learned in close to the panel?
