IQ4-345 and RE508X Take over

I replaced my 2GIG TAKE with an RE508x in order to get rid of my old box and a lot of unused wires. The Alula RE508x says with a Qolysys IQ Panel I am supposed to use Interlogix 319.5Mhz protocol however my panel would not recognise the translator.
Through trial and error I was able to get it to recognize the translator on the 2GIG setting, I am not sure if this is because it is a 345Mhz Panel so I don’t know if this is correct, although it all works. However I have two sensors that show up with the same ID. One is correct, the wires are on Z6 and it shows with ID 6. However another that is on Z7 shows up also with ID6. I have tried it on other Z numbers and it still shows as Z6. It is a completely separate wire from the one on Z6. I don’t know if this is a panel registration issue or an issue with my translator since the instructions say nothing about using it on the 2GIG setting.

The IQ Panel 4 comes in three different legacy RF versions. 319.5Mhz is the default, but you can choose 345Mhz or 433Mhz.

If you have the 345Mhz version of the panel, your panel would not be compatible with 319.5Mhz signals.

Choose a 345Mhz protocol. Honeywell or 2GIG will work.

Looking at your sensor list, I see no Zone 6 being reported. Instead I see Zone 4 and Zone 7 both having the same sensor TXID ending in 6, and Zone 7 using loop 2.

All translator zones should use Loop 1, and the TXID should correspond to the zone input. For your sensor in Zone 7, you can manually change that 7 digit ID and make the last digit 7. Change the Loop to 1.

This is under Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer Code > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Edit Sensor.

Does it resolve your issue?

I auto learned all the zones. The window on slot 7, auto learns to the same sensor as another window, 5596, and since it is on loop 1 this one registers to loop 2. It wont allow me to change it’s ID and it wont save moving it to loop 1. It previously worked when I 1st installed it, then I moved all zones down by 2 in order to free up zones 1 and 2 for future powered zones and this started.

It wont allow me to change it’s ID and it wont save moving it to loop 1.

Change the TXID first. Just change the last digit to 7. Save. Then go in and try changing the Loop.

It will protest if you try to save the same TXID with the same Loop again. For example, you cannot have two zones with 111-2223 as the TXID and also on Loop 1.

If you continue to see trouble, delete the zone and relearn it instead.

Under edit sensor, the DL ID is not ean editable field even if I delete and relearn. I can only enter that field on a manual add and then it doesn’t recognize it belongs to that sensor.

Are you using Auto-Learn Sensor?

Instead, please delete that sensor zone. Then Add Sensor. Do not auto-learn in this circumstance as a test. Select 345RF 2G as the source. Type 034-5597 as the DLID.

Select Loop 1. The rest as desired, but should be a Perimeter sensor group for a window. (Group 13).

Test the zone. Does it work?

There should be nothing blocking editing the zone. If you are still seeing issues, would you mind linking a short video of trying to edit the DLID and saving? It would help to see the errors or panels reaction to it.

I tried that earlier and it did not recogize the sensor. I will try again tomorrow and do a video. I may wire it all back starting with zone 1 since I dont have powered sensors yet and it worked that way previously.
