Apparently I have an older model IQ2 because it does not wake up just by touching the screen.
Send an email to customerservice@suretyDIY.com referencing this thread and provide your desired shipping address. Qolsys will be able to factory update the unit so that you can update in the future.

So I received my IQ2 back from Qolsys, and I cannot get it to pair with the main panel. The software version on the IQ2 now says 1.6rc13. The software version on my IQ main panel says 1.5.3-ADCS 4.3-ADCL 4.3. Every time I try to connect using the IQ2 IP address is says “operation failed”. My IQ2 is showing connected to my wifi. I’ve done a master reset on the IQ2 and I’ve rebooted the main panel. Guidance please?
Just a heads up, I never received tracking on the new IQ2 panel before the holiday weekend. It still might be on its way, but I never received tracking. Thank you.
Alright, I was told it would be sent Friday. They weren’t able to get it out for pickup before the holiday, though, I’ve been informed today. I apologize for the confusion, that’s why you hadn’t seen tracking.
