Does the IQ Remote have it’s own sound control separate from the panel it is paired too (IQ4 specifically).
I would like to put an IQ Remote in a bedroom but have it in night mode configured differently (turn off display/chimes/voice) compared to the IQ4 night mode (turn off display only) and the night mode times would be different between the remote and panel.
What about outside of night mode, can you tell it to have chimes or voice on/off separately from each other or is the only option to turn the volume all the way down?
Also, are there any LED status lights in the IQ Remote to indicate arm state (green/red). With our prior Honeywell Vista system, the keypad in the bedroom had an arming status light that was always lit even when the LCD backlight turned off. This let you quickly see if the system was armed or not. Was hoping to mimic same behavior with an IQ Remote during times the IQ remote display is off due to night mode.

Volume control on the IQ Remote is independent from the main IQ Panel (2 or 4).
As an aside, the IQ Panel 4 is only compatible with the QW9103-840 and QW9104-840 IQ Remotes (essentially the current and last version, any older IQ Remotes cant be paired to it).

Nighttime mode (Settings > Photo Frame > Settings > Nighttime Mode) can be independently set on the IQ Remote and the main IQ Panel (2 and 4). Start and end times can be set differently as well.

No. Volume control is global on the IQ Remote consisting of a single volume slider. This governs voice and chimes at the same time. Voice and Chime control is not independent on the IQ Remote.

No. There are no LEDs on the IQ Remote at all. There is no way to tell arming status from the IQ Remote if the panel screen is not awake.
Just want to clarify here. On the IQ4 you have a single volume slider in the main pulldown but you can go into Settings/Advanced/Sound and there is an option for individual volume levels for Voice Beeps and Chimes, Media, Doorbell. If you change the global volume slider after modifying these individual levels, it will cause a relative change do the individual levels.
The IQ Remote doesn’t offer this individual/relative tuning? If not, this would be a good feature suggestion for Qualsys.

No it does not offer this feature, the IQ Remote is not 1:! with the IQ Panel when it comes to programming choices, although it does mirror the same user interface. This is something that has been brought up to Qolsys but there is no word on if this is being implemented any time soon. If its possible it would be via firmware most likely.
