IQ remote setup (not) in a boot loop

I just received my IQ Remote and started the pairing process. After initial pairing the remote went through a 20 minute process of download, install, reboot, repeat.

I thought for sure it was in a boot loop, but as I opened the Surety Support site I noticed the most recent reboot took a lot longer, and then it booted to the correct remote screen.

So if you are installing a Remote and you think it’s not working, be patient.

The remote may have needed its firmware to sync with the IQ Panel. How many times did you notice the reboot?

The reboot process took over 2 minutes each time, so I would guess it rebooted 6 or 8 times. Enough that I was worried. :slight_smile:
