Qolsys has recently determined that IQ Pro Panels using Z-Wave automation device-based rules that have been created in Alarm.com may encounter those rules not running as expected.
If the IQ Pro panel programming uses the following programming, then Z-wave automation rules may not work as expected:
- Dialer delay = Disabled or less than 3 seconds (duration) and/or
- Common Zones = Yes
Resolution:
Remove the automation rule triggering device (example flood detector) from any common zone programming and enable dialer delay (if disabled) and/or increase dialer delay to greater than 5 seconds (if currently programmed as less than 5 seconds).
