IQ Panel - Wifi connected but no internet

Hi,

I’m having the issues with my IQ Panel Wifi and would appreciate any help.

It’s connected to my wifi network and panel itself displays “Connected, no Internet” and as a result I can’t update the panel software + streaming doesn’t work as well.

To confirm, if you try to update the firmware via the steps here, which will connect to the Qolsys servers, does that work?

No, it does not…

Getting “Unable to process your request - Please try again (ERROR CODE - 105)” error

Alright, in that case the first step I would try is a reboot of the router, then a reboot of the panel. Any change?

If no, what model of router are you using?

No change after rebooting the panel and router.

The router I have is Google Wifi router (mesh)

If you are seeing wifi connect but the Qolsys upgrade servers and Internet communication fail, that would usually suggest your router is blocking communication in some way.

You do have an old firmware version on that panel, but without internet connectivity with the update servers an updated version could not be applied.

One thing you might try as a test is using your smartphone as a hotspot and connecting your panel to the phone hotspot network. Do you get internet connectivity that way?

If so, it may be a good idea to try to update the firmware first.
