IQ Panel Ambient Noise Detector

I just realized that the IQ Panel has a built-in Ambient Noise Detector. According to the installation manual and release notes, it’s intended for monitoring of multi-dwelling units, etc. (not to be confused with the panel’s built-in glass break)

I can see how to enable it, but how does it alert? I can’t seem to find a document on this. Does something appear on the panel when the noise level is exceeded? Does it alert the monitoring center, or is it somehow controllable in the ADC website for alert notifications?

Thinking of use scenarios at a rental property, home with unattended teenagers and even in a small business office. Thanks!

When Enabled, the Panel’s built-in microphones can monitor for loud noise detection
above a settable dB threshold and generate an alert, 75dB to 95 dB. This must be sustained for a minimum of 5 minutes, up to 20 minutes (also settable).

Alert shows up in the Alerts/Alarms section of the panel, you can enable a pop-up under Dealer Settings as well.

This notification cannot be sent through Alarm.com and this feature cannot generate an alarm state. Additionally. you cannot use this feature and the panel glass break feature at the same time, its one or the other.
