IQ Panel 2+ "Enter Valid ID" issue

I am in the Security Sensor menu, trying to add a PowerG Heat Sensor (Johnson Controls PGP9979) and when I get prompted for the ID (it’s in the form A##-#### on the box) the panel does not allow me to go to the next entry (i.e. Sensor Type, Sensor Group, etc), and if I hit “Add New” it says “Enter Valid ID”.

Any ideas?

Since you’re enrolling the PGP9979 in PowerG fallback mode, you’ll need to use 202 as the first three numbers in the sensor ID, then enter the last four digits of the sensor ID. It should be formatted as 202-XXXX.

Does it allow you to add the sensor using that?
