Have an IQ Panel 4 and IQ Hardware that are working fine. I need additional zones, so added an HSM2108 zone expander. It’s not coming up when I select auto learn sensor and when I attempt to add it manually, the IQ Panel 4 thinks it’s a keypad when I enter the IQ Hardware ID and Zone Expander SN.
Not sure what else to try at this point. It’s pretty plug and play.
Does the zone expander have lights turning on? Once it is wired in, going into auto enroll should learn in all 8 zones.
Can you send us a picture of the wiring from the zone expander to the IQ Hardwire Module. Can you also send an up close image of the zone expander board with the date code on it?

It has just one light flashing once. Here are pictures of the wiring. Basically just wired the CORBUS connectors to each other and put in a jumper from TMP to BLK per instructions.

Just reading through the forum and this sounds exactly like my issue. I wonder if my IQ hardwire has an old firmware version. All I can find is this date on the box… can’t find the firmware rev printed anywhere.
Unfortunately, as far as I can tell from this thread, only dealers can update the firmware on the IQ hardwire.
Any thoughts here?
