IQ Glass Break Detector test

Hello,

I linked “IQ Glass Break Detector” to my IQ panel, however, have no idea how to properly test that it works as expected.

I tried to arm my system and play some glass break sound, but no luck, the alarm is not triggered and no notifications.

Does anyone has any advice how I can make sure it operates properly and would trigger an alarm if glass is broken?

Qolsys recommends using the Honeywell FG-701 tester. Here is the relevant section from the device manual.

Yes;
Those are hard to test. Like Jason said I would use the device on the photo or hit it with your car or house keys too. Make sure the alarm is On. Sometimes it just won’t go off if the alarm is Off.
