We are a new customer with an IQ 4. We provided the IMEI number and it said it was good. We’ve waited for the cellular to activate for an extended time and it has not. The instructions say to go log into Alarm.com once that’s done and when we try it, we get an error where it just closes up. So I’m not sure where to get help was getting the cellular active so that we’ll be able to reset the code and get started.
The communication between the panel and Alarm.com typically needs to be jump-started by performing a cell test. If you don’t have any codes for the system and are unable to perform a cell test, Qolsys panels can typically start communicating without one. You will not be able to log into Alarm.com until the panel has communicated with ADC.

If you do not have any codes for the system, then it is recommended that you perform a power cycle to start the communication instead. Steps to perform a power cycle can be found below.
Once the system has communicated, you’ll be able to log into your Alarm.com account. You can view or change the master code by looking under the Users section of Alarm.com. The installer and dealer codes for the system can be reset using the System Manager section of your Surety account after you’ve logged into Alarm.com for the first time.
