IQ 2 Panel Time Out

My panel is not communicating with the tower…It says time out. Is there something I can check? Is this a bad module or panel?

EDIT: I just tried logging into my account for Alarm.com and my login isn’t working. Is this related? Do I need to wait for my new Alarm.com account to be activated? (I just signed up 20 minutes ago)

UPDATE… Iam updating the latest software. I hope this fixes it.

If the cellular test is failing, power cycle the panel to troubleshoot:

To begin:

  • Disarm the System
  • Navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings > Power Down
  • Once off, unplug the power supply from the wall
  • Open the panel and disconnect the internal battery
  • Leave the panel completely off for at least 2 minutes
  • After 2 minutes minimum, plug in the battery and power supply
  • After boot up, wait 5 minutes and check signal strength/run cell test.

If you are updating firmware, do not power off the panel, wait until the update is complete before power cycling.

Once the cell test is successful follow the steps to finalize account creation in the System Manager tab of your Surety login.
