does the system work reliably with just the cellular service? We would want the smart home and alarm system without cameras.
Internet is not required, and if you have a solid cell signal that is overall usually a little more reliable than internet. You can use the IQ Panel’s access point mode if you need to connect a secondary IQ Remote touchscreen.
If cell were to go down for some reason there would not be a backup signal path at that time, which is a big benefit of having that backup internet connection path, and you will experience a little cellular latency when sending commands to the system instead of the more instantaneous reactions to most broadband commands.
