Hello, I will be moving up from a simon xt to a qolsys iq 4 panel next month (after my current contract is up) we currently have interlogix 319.5 sensors, glass break, window, smoke, and garage tilt.
I am reading through the install instructions to familiarize myself for the new update, I read where it says you must enter the code that is printed on the sensors or the box they came in, problem here is the boxes are long gone and the stickers that have the numbers have pretty much faded away, there is nothing readable on the sensors at all.
How do I install the sensors to the panel without these numbers? Please tell me I don’t have to buy all new sensors?!
No need to do that, you can use the auto learn function and trip or tamper the sensors one by one to learn them in. Their ID will populate automatically. Here is a guide on programming the panel using 319.5Mhz sensors:
