I have several of the 2GIG Wireless Smoke/Heat/Freeze Detectors. I would like to setup a rule or some other type of program so that when one detector sounds a siren, they all do. Is this possible? Also, is there a way to see the status of the detectors in the app? Website?
Only smoke detectors that do that are powerg smokes on an Iq panel
2GIG Smoke Detectors are one way communication sensors, they broadcast a signal that the panel listens for, they do not receive signals. There is no way to make all 2GIG Smoke detectors trigger when one does.
The panel and any secondary touchscreens will sound an alarm when a smoke detector is tripped.
There is no way to view status of a smoke detector in the quick Sensor activity status menu, no, they are not eligible for activity monitoring. That is because a smoke detector has exactly two possible statuses at any time, idle, or in alarm. There is no point where it can trip and not be an alarm.
If you are referring to things like tamper and low battery, those are generated as notifications and trouble conditions which will show in the app/website and on the panel.
