Infernal beeping when disarming Qolsys from keypad

I haven’t seen any recent updates saying this has changed, but is there any way to stop the infernal beeping that the IQ Remote PG does when being disarmed from the keypad (ie - from Arm Stay when I come downstairs in the morning - I’m not talking about entry delay beeping)? Even with the volume all the way down it still does it. The unnecessary sounds may drive me to the point of disconnecting the speaker inside of the keypad.

Qolsys stated there is currently no way to remove the beeping from keypresses on the keypad as of right now. This is something I can submit as a request for future updates but it’s not something I can say for sure they can do.

Hi - on my IQ Remote, if I type the code fast no beep ever has a chance to sound. (If I type slowly the beeps are there, of course.) However I get the voice “system disarmed by second floor panel” which is just as annoying if I’m trying to not wake others.

I do hear that silent disarm is a feature in the next version of code, but I’m unsure if it will apply to the IQ Remote as well as the main IQ 4.

Sorry - to clarify - I’m not referring to keypress beeps (which are fine). This is more like timer beeps. They start as soon as I hit disarm (whether or not I’m pressing buttons). Badeep. Badeep. Badeep… It’s definitely not entry delay though as this occurs when disarming from Arm Stay when I’m still in the house.

I will watch future firmware release notes.

Thanks Vidail.

Thank you, getoffmylawn. Will be interesting to see how that translates to the IQ Remote, especially when, in our case, we have it paired with an IQ Pro.
