I received an access code to get into my two gig system from the prior owner of my new home. I activated the alarm last night. And tried to disarm it today, but the master code didn’t work so I cannot leave my house and I haven’t had a chance to set up service with SURETY yet. Please advise.
If you haven’t set up service then the system isn’t being monitored. If you trigger the alarm then it will just make noise, no one will send the police.
If you want make sure it doesn’t sound the siren then you would need to unplug it and disconnect the backup battery. Are you able to see where it’s plugged into wall power?
