IF they are configured properly do the often trigger false alarms? Was pondering the one in the below link. I’ll also search the forums to see what I can find.
I’ve not used the model linked, but generally speaking if you are sure to follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions false alarms are probably about as frequent as indoor models. It will be very heavily dependent on the use case.
In the case of that model it looks like two separate PIR sensors must be tripped simultaneously to trigger
Do these work good in cold weather?
The only RE253 info I could find regarding operating temp states a low end of -20 degrees F. These should work fine in most areas.
