I’m removing Alarm.com monitoring. How do I re-setup the ADC-V522IR so I can view the camera etc. without requiring alarm monitoring? I just want to use it as a standalone camera, like any Wyze, Nest, or other camera. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
I don’t think either of the products referenced there (at least current versions that I am aware, newer Nest cams require their service I think) are stand-alone cameras. They require use of a specified back-end services afaik (just like the ADC-V522IR).
I’m not sure if the Wyze currently supports RTSP or Onvif out of the box, but I cannot provide support regarding that product.
Alarm.com cameras use proprietary security-focused firmware which requires Alarm.com back-end for communication. This thread has a lot of user posts and info on possibly using an Alarm.com camera without the ADC service.
