These steps can be taken when your Wi-Fi device is having issues communicating with alarm.com. The cause could be your internet providers firewall not allowing the device to communicate properly with alarm.com.
- Try checking your router for any firewall settings that can be enabled. Try disabling the firewall rules and seeing if there are any changes to your devices.
- Try rebooting your modem and router by powering them down for at leat 30 seconds then powering back on.
- You can try using an older router you may have or use the mobile hotspot from your phone to test the device.
