How to set alarm code

I just got the services and some how i set the alarm to stay but never set a code. So I’m stuck in my home. How do i set a code?

The panel should not be in an armed state in order to get started. If you have armed the system it will need to be disarmed. Unless the panel was connected to our service successfully via a cell test in the panel settings remote commands would not be possible.

It looks like the panel has not synced any system details at all with Alarm.com, the only way to disarm would be at the panel currently.

If it is a new panel, you can try the default code 1234.

If the panel was in the home when you moved in and it was sold as part of the home purchase, I would recommend reaching out to your realtor for help retrieving the master user code. This will let you disarm and finish setup.

That code does not work,

There is no other way? I have tried calling the realtor but no answer

The only way to factory reset the panel is while disarmed and locally through the menu, requiring knowledge of the dealer code.

Disarming the panel without an active remote connection through Alarm.com requires one of the user codes.

The panel must be disarmed typically to properly begin communication with Alarm.com. If it cannot sync data with Alarm.com, remote commands to disarm cannot be sent.

Unfortunately while the communicator can connect, the system cannot sync data in the armed state. The panel has not even confirmed its version yet and the equipment list is empty, including the panel itself on our end. We’ve sent a few status requests from the system but there is no data in the response, which is expected given the armed state.

Is there a way to send me the instructions on how to setup the system?

In the current state the only sure-fire way to resolve is to obtain a user code from the prior owner. The system must be disarmed.

Here is a link to the IQ Panel 2 installation manual, is that what you are referencing?

I was able to disarm it. But i lost the instructions on how to setup the panel. Just need them to continue the setup

Ah, you can revisit the activation page at suretyhome.com/setup I believe those are the instructions you are referring to.

It looks like you should be set however and ready to use Alarm.com, it looks like your panel is signaling and you have successfully logged in. You are essentially done with the setup instructions.
