loss of sensor supervision…How can I service sensor to check battery without causing alarm to be sent???
As long as your panel is disarmed, you can open sensors and test battery levels or replace the battery. You will receive tamper notifications if you have those set up on Alarm.com but it will not generate an alarm signal to the central station.

Loss of sensor supervision may also indicate other issues if battery replacement does not solve it, such as environmental signal loss. What type of sensor is it? Is it on or near a metal surface or excess metal objects? Is it farther from the panel than other sensors? And if 2GIG, do you have 30 or more sensors programmed into your panel?
