Hi everyone! Here are simple, step-by-step instructions for resetting your Nami security devices.
Important: Resetting a device will remove it from your account and restore it to factory settings. This cannot be undone.
Alarm Pod
- Plug the Alarm Pod into power.
- Remove the back cover to find the small reset button in the middle of the device.
- Using a paperclip or similar small tool, press and hold the reset button.
- Keep holding while the LED light blinks rapidly, then slows down, then stops completely.
- Once the LED stops, unplug the Alarm Pod from power.
SensePlug
- Make sure the SensePlug is unplugged from the wall outlet.
- Press and hold the button on the side of the SensePlug.
- While still holding the button, plug the SensePlug back into the wall outlet.
- Continue holding the button while the LED blinks rapidly, then slows down, then stops. You may hear a faint click when it stops.
Door Sensor
- Press and hold the button on the top of the Door Sensor while watching the LED at the front.
- Keep holding the button while the LED blinks rapidly, then slows down, then stops.
Tip: The LED is very faint and white — it can be hard to see. Try covering the sensor with your hand to cast a shadow, which makes the light easier to spot.
Keypad
- Press and hold the Disarm button and the Arm (Away) button at the same time.
- Keep holding both buttons while the LED indicator blinks rapidly, then slows down, then stops.
PIR Motion Sensor
- Press and hold the button on the side of the PIR Sensor while watching the LED at the top.
- Keep holding the button while the LED blinks rapidly, then slows down, then stops.
Tip: The LED is very faint and white. Try covering the sensor with your hand to cast a shadow so you can see the light more easily.
