My remote location IP cameras keep dropping out, both wired and wifi.
Is there a remote type switch I could operate from another location which would power cycle
the cameras, and/or the modem to bring them back up?
I found this device, wondering if it’s the best solution or if there is a better one.

I can’t vouch for particular brands or models of IP power switch, the model you linked should do the job though I would imagine. If you also have an alarm panel with automation and want to keep it within the system you could use a Z-wave plug in switch as well.
