**Particularly handy sensor for garage overhead doors. Using two heavy duty wired contacts, you can monitor two doors independently with this one sensor acting as a transmitter.

Is it possible to use the RE201 with the internal reed + 1 external contact??

Yes, you can even use the RE201 with the internal reed switch and 2 external contacts since the RE201 has 2 wired sensor inputs. You can do the same thing with a 2GIG-DW10-345 using the internal reed switch and 1 external contact since it has 1 wired sensor input. Each sensor will report on a separate “loop” number.

To use the internal reed + the externals, what loop number would I set in the config?

In order to use multiple loops for a sensor, it must be programmed in as multiple zones. One zone would be Loop 2 (internal reed switch). You would then program a second zone with the same sensor as Loop 1 to use the A and Ground external terminals.
