How to Pair a 2GIG TS1 secondary panel to a 2GIG Go!Control GC2

In order to pair the 2GIG TS1 with a Go!Control or GC2 alarm panel, make sure:

  • The 2GIG Go!Control or GC2 has the 2GIG XCVR2-345 Transceiver installed.
  • The 2GIG TS1 Firmware matches the main panel firmware
    • The TS1 needs to be on the same firmware as the main panel up until firmware 1.16. This is the latest firmware for the TS1. Later versions of main panel firmware (1.17, 1.19, etc.) work with the TS1 on 1.1.6.

To begin the pairing process:

  1. Access programming by clicking on the 2GIG Logo in the lower-right corner of the panel home screen.
  2. Then enter the Installer Code (default 1561).
  3. Next, select System Configuration > Go To Question 4 which is used to pair and program keypads.

Programming for the TS1 is:

Keypad Slot: 1 through 4. Select 1 if this is the first/only keypad
Equipment Code: 1059 2GIG-TS1 Wireless Touchscreen Keypad
Pair the TS1: Press the Learn button. Then, on the TS1 Keypad, press the Pair with Panel Button. The panel should pick up the Ts1 signal. Press the OK button on the GC2.
Equipment Age: New or Existing. For information only, does not affect device ability.
Emergency Keys: Enabled or disabled
Voice Descriptor: As desired

  1. When done, save programming changes. Press the Edit Next > End. Make sure Save Changes is checked. Press Exit to save changes.

Troubleshooting

Remove 2GIG TS1 from Programming

  • From the Main Panel, go to Installer Toolbox / System
    Configuration
  • Select the Go To button and enter 04. The Control Panel displays
Q4: select RF keypad # (1 to 4). Select the configured 2GIG‐TS1 you
wish to remove via the Right Arrow, and press the Down Arrow arrow.
  • Mark the RF Keypad number selected as “unused” by pressing the Right Arrow
arrow. This action toggles the setting on the first question between
“used” and “unused.” Press the Down arrow to advance to the next
    option.
  • To exit programming, click skip then end and exit. Upon exit, the
panel takes several seconds to reboot.

Factory Reset 2GIG TS1

If the TS1 does not pair, you may need to Factory Reset the TS1 and re-pair. To do so:

  1. First follow the above steps to remove the TS1
  2. Unplug the 2GIG TS1 power Supply from the wall outlet and disconnect the internal battery (if applicable, not all TS1s have this).
  3. Reapply power and then hold both the Emergency and the Home buttons down simultaneously until they light up (about 20 seconds).
  4. When both buttons light up, the TS1 will be reset, you can let go.
  5. The 2GIG‐TS1 should show the message: This Device is Not Paired with a Control Panel.
  6. From there you can repair the TS1.
