I have my living room camera set to trigger movement in a certain area and it logs those events fine. What I want however is to trigger my panel alarm when armed and motion is detected in that zone. How is this done?
You cannot trigger an alarm state based on a video camera detecting motion.
You could install a motion detector like a IQ Motion or PowerG Motion detector in the same area as the camera to detect motion and trigger the alarm while the system is armed.
