How to determine current DSC sensors to switch to a Qolysis panel

I’m moving to a new house with an existing DSC setup and I want to switch to a Qolysis panel. Is there way I can tell on the DSC panel or sensors if I need the 319.5 or 345 panel? It also looks like they have hardwired motion sensors, will those work with Qolysis?

If it’s a DSC panel then the wireless sensors are probably either 433 MHz or PowerG. The easiest thing to do would be to look at one of the sensors. The frequency or model # would be printed on the back or inside.

The IQ Panel would need the IQ Hardwire PowerG to work with wired sensors. Or you can use the IQ Pro which works with wired sensors as is.

So the doors and windows are these Z823 sensors. Which IQ panel and set up would be the right to use?

I don’t see much on Z823 sensors but when I search the web it does seem to show up with DSC 433 MHz wireless.

I can’t guarantee they’ll work with the 433 MHz model of the IQ Panel but that seems like the best bet.

Do you know how many there are and how old they are? If they’re very old it might make sense to replace the wireless sensors and just get the normal panel.

There’s 11 sensors and 4 hard wired motion so would be nice to reuse if possible. This is hardwired box. Anything with the setup that could be compatible with IQ?

That’s a PC1832, a common older DSC panel. It’s pretty likely your sensors would work with the 433 MHz model IQ Panel.

Somewhere there is a wireless receiver connected to the panel for your sensors. It’s either a separate white box or it could be built into one of your keypads. Can you see what model it is?

To reuse existing 433Mhz wireless DSC sensors you can use the 433Mhz version of the IQ Panel 4 here.

You could then use the IQ Hardwire PowerG here to reuse existing wired sensors, which will transmit those to the panel as PowerG signals.

If you have existing smoke detectors connected to the system be sure to check the expiration date to determine if they need replaced.
