I would like to delete my alarm system (2gig GC2) because I am moving and I would like the new home owner to be able to register the alarm. When I go the alarm.com (link system page) the delete icon (trash can) does nothing when clicked. How do I remove it?
You should be able to log directly into your Surety account, click on the Subscriptions tab and then Cancel Service , to submit your cancellation request. Cancellations are typically handled this way for account verification purposes.
I wanted to remove the home panel before canceling service so that the new home owner will be able to register the alarm panel with alarm.com and not get notified that another user already has it registered.
They might be able to help u more in the Customer service once they get back in the office tomorrow but that’s only way I know how to do it is cancel the service all together and then u won’t get notified at all
I did happen to think about something ur new home ur moving to have u already got ur new panel if u do u could go to system manger and swap the panel and it would release ur old homes panel

A panel cannot be manually removed from an account, a replacement IMEI would be needed.
The standard options would be to replace the IMEI on your account with that of a new panel if you are keeping your service, or cancellation of the subscription. The panel would be immediately unregistered with either of those.
If cancellation is chosen, you could then sign up for a new subscription later for a new system.
