How To Clear a Phone Line Failure from an Interlogix Concord 4

A Phone Line Failure,occurs if the Interlogix Concord 4 panel either:

  • Has monitoring station information programmed into it but the panel does not have a hardwired phone line attached to it.
    • If there is not a phone line attached to the panel, it is required to remove the monitoring station information programmed in the panel since the information is stored in the Alarm.com module instead.
  • Has a phone line attached to the panel but the phone line is unable to communicate.
    • If there is a phone line attached to the panel, resolve the phone line communication.

If there is not a phone line attached to the panel and the monitoring station information is programmed in system programming, you can clear the monitoring station information locally via the below instructions.

Alternatively if you are using Surety and your panel is signalling, commands can be sent to clear this information remotely upon request.

Important : To ensure these settings take effect, it is required to perform a local power cycle of the panel after clearing the monitoring station information. If a local power cycle is not performed after making changes, the phone line failure message eventually appears again.

To clear the monitoring station information using the panel:

  1. Press [8] .
  2. Enter the installer code.
  3. Press [00] .
  4. For System Programming , press [#] to enter programming.
  • To clear CS phone numbers: (shortcuts = [01000], [01010], [01020] )
    1. Scroll to Phone , press [#] .
    2. Scroll to CS Phone Numbers , press [#] to view and configure it.
    3. Press D (quick exit) to delete.
    4. Press [*] to go back to the programming menu.
  • To clear CS account numbers: (shortcuts = [0010] to [0060] )
    1. Scroll to Security , press [#] .
    2. Scroll to Partition , press [#] to view and configure that partition.
    3. Scroll to Account Numbers , each account number should be 00000 .
    4. Press [#] to save.
    5. Press [*] to go back to the programming menu.
  • To clear the Line Fail Delay: (shortcut = [0213] )
    1. Scroll to Phone Options , press [#] .
    2. Scroll to Partition , press [#] to view and configure that partition.
    3. Scroll to Line Fail Delay , then press D (quick exit) to delete.
    4. Press [*] to go back to the programming menu.
  1. Locally power-cycle the panel to sync these updated settings with Alarm.com.
