How to Bypass sensor on Concord 4

I am receiving Tamper messages for garage door and would like to disengage or bypass so it does not continue to beep . how do i do that

To bypass a sensor on the Concord 4

You can utilize the zone bypassing feature when you want to arm the system, but skip a zone that you want to leave open or requires service. Note that bypassed zones will not be able to sound an alarm. Note that life safety zones cannot be bypassed.

If one or more sensors are currently open

  1. Arm your system in STAY or AWAY mode.
  2. Keypad will display “PROTEST”
  3. Press #
  4. The keypad will display SENSOR__BYPASSED.
  5. The system will arm.

However, if all sensors are currently working

  1. Close all doors and windows.
  2. Arm your system in STAY or AWAY mode.
  3. Press # + CODE.
  4. The keypad will display “BYPASS SENSOR _ _”, enter the sensor you wish to bypass.
  5. The keypad will display “BYPASSED ZONE _ _” or “SENSOR _ _ BYPASSED”.

To just silence the trouble alerts on a Concord 4:

  1. Do a system status check by pressing * (star key) on a keypad.
  2. Change the arming level. (just arm/disarm or disarm system)
