How do you calibrate the ADC-S2000-T-RA Temperature Sensor?

My dad (also a suretydiy customer) is using a ADC-S2000-T-RA temperature sensor and has used tools to validate that the sensor is off by 2-3 degrees. Reviewing the manual , I do not see instructions on how to calibrate it to the correct temperature. Someone said it could be done in mobile tech.

Is there a particular method or area I can go to help him calibrate these sensors? Thanks for the help!

I’m not aware of that in the mobile tech app but I’ll ask around in case it’s something I haven’t run into yet. I’ll follow up soon.

I’ve talked to everyone available and confirmed that there is no way to calibrate the remote temp sensor. You can do that with the main thermostat itself which is probably what the person you talked to was thinking of.

I would try a a few things in this order.

  1. Remove the battery for a few minutes and put it back in to “reset” the temp sensor.
  2. Replace the battery with a new one.
  3. Replace the temp sensor with a new one.

Sorry but that’s about all you can do with them. They’re very simple devices. Just a digital thermometer connected to a Z-wave chip.
