How do we know if Video Surveillance is working?

How do we know if Video Surveillance is working? It sure would be nice if there was a icon or checkmark on the video clip so that we know that it was watched. I hate to be in a real situation and the surveillance wasn’t working for a while. By having that indicator visible, you would know you are being monitored.

As a former Deep Sentinel customer, these are the only two things I see as missing to make your offering equal to Deep Sentinel.

#1 An easy way to pause the monitoring for privacy. Its buried within sub menus currently

#2 An indicator indicating that a guard reviewed the video on each recorded clip.

Alarm.com puts a little headset icon on the video frame.

They have recently released an app update that includes arming/disarming for remote video monitoring. This places the option on your home page to disarm or resume the schedule for cameras.

This is in the following versions:

iOS version 5.9.4+
Android version 5.7.4+

I can’t seem to find the headset icon on my live feed or on saved video clips. There are no icons like what is pictured in your screen shot. Is this because I am using the video doorbell?

That looks like the cause, the doorbell has a different UI and set of options than other cameras. I’ll let ADC know and ask to have a similar icon added for the doorbell.
