I have this unit in our master bedroom and I leave for work early. I don’t want it to say, “System disarmed, ready to arm” when I turn off the alarm. I can arm it with silent exit and it won’t say anything, but I don’t want it saying anything unless there is an actual alarm or a doorbell.
I had a 2gig unit with Vivint that I was able to turn off these sounds. I canceled Vivint and bought the GC3.
Well, logically I would think the System Annunciation volume slider should cover that, but it does not. We’ll see if 2GIG has any additional info.
Anybody else? The System Annunciation volume slider doesn’t reduce the volume low enough. If I select the mute button when I disarm, it won’t announce, but I don’t have that option with the app. Any more info?
Well 2GIG states that there is no universal way of removing the announcement, but yes, you can silence the announcement by disarming at the panel.
That is a good point. Alarm.com may be able to add something like that as an optional function when disarming. I will make a suggestion to Alarm.com to see if they can allow the same through a mobile command. Essentially a checkbox option, like “no entry delay.”
