I’m starting to work on some ideas around the Z-Wave automation possibilities and was curious how advanced the rules can get with ADC. Can they trigger on events other than just alarm armed or disarmed? For example, one thing I’d like to do is add a light switch controller to my hallway lights, then set a rule that if the door is opened while alarm is armed, turn on the hallway light. I was poking around the site, but without any devices it’s hard to get a feel for what you can do with the rules.

I have my zwave lights on first and second floors set to turn on when alarm activates, turn off when alarm disarmed…
I had another rule for Lights to turn on if front door is opened between 9pm-6am…
Events for rules are : alarms, arm/disarm, sensor activity, GEO Fence
Thanks, Rive. Can you combine event states? So for example, door opened + alarm armed + 6pm - 6am = turn on light?
You can create multiple event based rules for same device, but you cannot select multiple events for same rule
