I have my Honeywell Vista 21IP connected to Home Assistant using Alarm Decoder. I’m using a 5816 sensor to detect when mail arrives in my mailbox. My problem is that I need a zone that does not alarm. One that only lets me know that the contact went from closed to open. I think I’ve tried every fixed zone type and some custom zone types. Nothing worked. Is there a solution?
Honeywell no alarm response zone type is Type 23.

Type 23 didn’t work because with that setting Alarm Decoder didn’t see any zone changes.
