Honeywell FG-730

I have a wired glass break sensor leftover from our original security system. How would I program this in the 2Gig system?

A wired glass break detector would need to be connected either to a sensor which can be used as a wireless transmitter, like the DW10, or would need to be wired to the Go!Control Panel hardwire circuits. There are two hardwired zone inputs on the Go!Control terminal block.

In either case, the glass break detector would need to be powered via an appropriate power source.

Did you use a TAKE-345 for other wired sensors? Do you still use the old panel to power other wired motions or glass breaks?

It’s wired through a TAKE-345 box.

For clarity, the Glass Break is already connected to the TAKE to one of the detection circuits…? Or are you saying that the rest of the sensors were used with the TAKE and the glass break was left out?

If it is not connected to the TAKE and you have no more TAKE zones available, you could just wire it to a DW10 and use loop 1 for the wired input. Programming can be found here in this post.

If you have room on the TAKE, you would want to follow programming instructions in this video.
