Do you know if the Honeywell 5820L door/window sensor works with 2gig?
I just spoke with 2GIG. The 5820L is not a sensor that is on their equipment list that is guaranteed to function with the 2GIG panel, however, they did say that anything in the 5800 series of sensors should work with the panel.
Their suggestion is to try it out and see if it works. While I was hoping for a more definitive answer from them regarding the sensor, I have to agree with their assessment that anything within the 5800 series should work and to try it and see what happens. Unfortunately, that’s not a sensor model we carry so I can’t test it myself.
