i recently signed up for service and cannot get cell phone test to pass i know the module worked before i signed with u guys because the date and time would update now it will not any help would be appreciated
Looks like this is regarding a 2GIG Panel, correct? When was the last time this module was connected to an Alarm.com account?
I am not seeing any activity from that module on the back-end. What are you seeing when you attempt to run a cell phone test at the panel?
Can you take a photo of the Radio Status screen and post it here as well?
If this is a Verizon module, you may need to follow the steps in this video to troubleshoot.
i just moved into the home don’t know installer code and the panel just says acquiring network registration
here is photo

Looks like all the images exceed the file size limit. Can you resize and repost?
You do not need the installer code to access the cell phone test and run the walk/sensor test troubleshooting step.
You would need the master user code though, but if you are running cell phone tests from the panel you would already be using that code.
Try this:
Security - Menu - Toolbox - Master Code.
System Test, Cancel, System Test, Cancel, System Test, Cancel, then quickly run a cell phone test. Wait a full 10 minutes, then run another cell phone test.
i have reset panel and had code set to 1111 i have been to cell phone test that way several times it always says acquiring network registration then cell phone test failed
i have been to cell phone test that way several times it always says acquiring network registration then cell phone test failed
To clarify, older verizon modules are known to exhibit this behavior if not in use with the carrier for a while.
Are you saying you performed the steps exactly as suggested? Performing the walk test/cancel 3 times then the two separated cell tests in that exact order is the method to try to force module registration. The first cell test will fail, then the second one performed after the ten minute wait should re-register the module.
If you have not, please do the following:
Security – Menu – Toolbox – Master Code.
System Test, Cancel, System Test, Cancel, System Test, Cancel, then quickly run a cell phone test. Wait a full 10 minutes, then run another cell phone test.
If you have performed these steps, including waiting a full ten minutes between the cell tests (this must be done) then the next thing to check is to open the panel and ensure the module antenna is connected firmly. If the large cell antenna is loose or not attached it will not function properly.
Another thing you can try is powering down the panel completely, removing the cell module and re-seating it on the board. Power up the panel, wait a couple minutes, then try running the cell phone test again.
