I wired up a PG9WLSHW8 to connect to my IQ Panel 4, but it doesnt power up and give a blinking status light. My old alarm battery is dead. Could this be the reason or is it because my takeover is dead? I checked the volt meter and its getting 16.5V. My motion sensors are getting power, but board doesnt power on?
What color is the status, and how often is it blinking?
Are you using the existing wiring to power the IQ Hardwire PowerG?
Are you using the transformer that came with the IQ Hardwire PowerG? A lot of older alarm systems use a 16 VAC transformer, but the IQ Hardwire PowerG uses an 18 VDC one.
No lights at all. I’m getting around 17ish volts from the provided transformer to the board. If I don’t get any lights does that mean my board is dead? My motion sensors work with the aux power?
It’s always possible that the board is l bad. Normally, the LED should flash green once every 10 seconds if everything is working normally.
Can you send us a photo of the inside of the module?
