I Have an old Vivent 2gig alarm system , no loger use vivent.
i recently got a low battery on my fire alarm sensor, changed the battery but error never went away, Now i have to acknowledge the error or the system start beeping regularly. I just want to silence it for good. i do not need it working as i have other smoke detectors.
anyone have a video on how to remove the detector from the 2gig panel or a way to permanently silence the panel?

If you have a 2GIG Go!Control Panel, the following video shows how to remove a sensor from system programming. You would need access to system configuration.
Note that it may not be necessary to remove, if you changed the batteries, you’ll need to leave the sensor powered down for 30 seconds or so before re-inserting the batteries to clear the error.
If you have an SMKT2 however, it may be at end of life, in which case it would need removed or replaced.

Yes, 2GIG Smoke Detectors are 345 mhz sensors the same as door sensors, glass breaks, etc.
