I am buying another 2gig dw10 and will use it in a fake book to know when it’s opened. What is the best way to program this? It should not activate the alarm, is only used for monitoring. I will have it send me notifications when opened/closed and so it logs it as well.
This video shows how to program for a DW10 sensor for use on a window, but for your purpose rather than selecting “perimeter” as the video directs for “Sensor type”, you will want to select “(23) no response”.
