We have a heat detector keeps reporting low battery, even after we have change to a brand new battery. What could be the cause? Our panel is 1st Gen Qolsys IQ panel.
Also, if it needs to be replaced, which heat detector would you recommend? Please see the attached pictures of my current heat detector. Which model is it? I could not find similar ones on the surety product site.
Sometimes the battery needs to be removed for at least 30 seconds before the new battery is added to clear the low battery alert.

No, we do not carry a 319.5MHz sensors that is for heat only.
Which smoke/heat detector for kitchen would you recommend that works with ip4?
The ELK 319HRR135 looks like it is a 319.5Mhz option. It is not officially supported in Qolsys’ compatible devices list, but it claims it is a standard GE replacement model so it is likely it would work.
