Go!Bridge OTA firmware updates

I setup/configured my Go!Bridge and the test passed successfully; is there anything else that I need to do on my end or do I have to contact you to register it? Do I have to download/install any firmware updates for the Go!Bridge itself?

Is there a way to receive OTA firmware updates automatically at a specific time (i.e., 2 am) without having to contact you every single time there’s a new GC2 or TS1 update?

Do I have to disable the TS1 (v1.16) on the control panel (v.1.19.3) first before each OTA firmware update is pushed? If so (and assuming you would update it automatically), is there some sort of notification in advance? Last time during the manual update (with the cable), I bricked the TS1 because I skipped that part and I am trying to avoid that again at all costs.

Last question is related to the alarm.com app (not the web interface): Is there a way to create non-admin accounts so that users can just view the history and arm/disarm the system without having access to edit/delete the notifications and view/edit other users’ information and pin numbers? At least the app should ask for a master code before editing/deleting certain features.

Happy to assist!

Dual path communication is currently enabled and pings via broadband have been successful. You system is using the Go!Bridge for dual path communication.

There are no firmware upgrades that need to be downloaded/installed for the GoBridge itself.

No, automatic firmware updates are not possible on the 2GIG GC2, nor is it possible to request a specific time. OTA update requests are handled by our staff during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.

No, this is not necessary. Note the TS1 must be connected to the main panel in order for a firmware update to be passed to the TS1. It cannot receive an update (if one exists) unless it is connected. Currently the TS1’s more recent firmware is 1.16 and that is compatible with the current main panel firmware of 1.19.3.

You can control user access via the Users → Manage Logins page. Each login can be given various permissions from here. Be sure to save when done. It sounds like the Limited Device Access permission may best suit your needs. You can view the parameters of each permission under the Custom permission and Custom permissions offer granular control over user permissions.
