Hello, I’ve noticed that since June 28, no video clips taken by my Garage Cam are saved/recorded. I do get the push notifications when a person is detected, but when I go in to see the saved clip a few mins after, there are no saved recordings. I am unsure as to why the video analytics are working and sending alerts but no recordings are being saved.
According to the app, the camera is connected and signal is good. I am able to see a live stream of the camera just fine.
Pings to the Garage Cam are successful and the rule is not paused. Additionally, no recordings are showing under the Object Detection: Other category.
When was the last time you test the camera’s recording rule?
The first thing I would suggest here is a power cycle of the camera. Leave it off for a couple minutes, then reboot.
Next turn off the corresponding recording rule, wait 5 minutes then turn it back on. Wait an additional 5 minutes for the rule to be sent down to the camera. Then test. Any change?
Last time the rule was tripped was yesterday and I did get the push notification but never saw a saved clip. I’ll go ahead and follow the troubleshooting steps provided and come back with an update once complete.
