GD00Z-4 Garge Opener w/ GC3

Hey guys, I know the Linear GD00Z-4 Garage Door controller works w/ the GC3 and alarm.com, and according to 2gig is compatible w/ the GC3. But does this mean that you can actually control the garage door via the GC3 panel itself? Or does it populate on the GC3 as an unknown device, and it only work through alarm.com??

At this time, you cannot use the panel to directly control the garage. It’s too bad. Fortunately Nortek owns 2GIG, and it seems likely they might put in some firmware that allows this functionality. It’s just a Zwave passthrough.
